My name is Katie Watson. I am eighteen years old and I am a freshman at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri majoring in Equestrian Science with a minor in Equine Business Administration. I have been riding for nine years. I started riding at the age of nine with Leah Kaufman at Al Kaufman Stables in Westfield, Indiana. A year and a half later I switched to the remote barn of Rodney Scheele. A year after that I followed a lesson horse named Denmark's Golden Iroc to High Spirit Farm in Westfield, Indiana and rode and worked with Kathy Abott Conflenti and also worked shows for Mike McIntosh. Two years ago Mike found a saddlebred gelding named Saha's Emerald at Rick Peel Stables and with Mike's help I worked and showed my horse in the three-gaited full mane and tail Amatuer Park Division. I am excited this year as Mike's daughter, Courtney, will be showing "Dave" in three-gaited show pleasure while I am at William Woods, learning from Ms. Gayle Lampe. Good Luck Courtney! | |||
